Section 1. Adorn beauty - Terms and conditions for our services
All prices, treatments and information are correct at the time of posting this website and are subject to revision without notice.
Treatments prices are subject to change without notice. Although we try to assure accuracy, Adorn cannot be responsible for typographical or photo error on our web site.
Section 2. Shellac Polish
WE DO NOT TAKE ANY GUARANTY FOR SHELLAC IF THEY PEEL OF WITHIN WEEK TIME, 2 TO 3 DAYS OR SO, BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE SALON PLEASE CHECK YOUR NAILS CAREFULLY BECAUSE WE CANNOT TAKE ANY LIABILITY OF YOUR POLISH IF YOU COME BACK AND SAY IT WASN’T DONE PROPERLY OR THE EDGES OF THE NAIL WEREN’T COVERED PROPERLY OR THERE IS A BUBBLES!
Section 3. Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are non refundable and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and will not be honoured after the expiry date. Vouchers may be used for treatments only at Adorn beauty salons. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Under any circumstances, Validity shall not be extended.
Gift vouchers are not redeemable against the following items or services :
Over the counter beauty products, such as products from Dermalogica, Elemis, Loreal, Crystal clear, 3D or product of any other company sold by Adorn Beauty.
Section 4. Manicure and Pedicure
Hygiene
Salon Hygiene is, of course, the utmost importance and to achieve optimal cleanliness all our sterilisation equipment is approved by the local Environmental Health Officer.
Section 5. Punctuality & Courtesy over the appointments
As a courtesy to other clients following your appointment, late arrivals will result in a reduction of treatment time. Please do not ask the impossible, we will endeavour to carry out what we can within the time slot allocated, or suggest a re-booking. All times stated include preparation of room and client: i.e. 5 minutes at the beginning and end of treatment.
Section 6. Payment
Most Credit Cards and Cash are acceptable as Payment Method. All prices include value added tax at a current rate.
Section 7. Consultation
We are aware that many of you may be confused as to which treatment best suites your specific requirements. We are of course, pleased to offer you up-to-date information and advice with a complimentary consultation in the strictest of confidence.
Section 8. Refunds
We do not offer refunds for any completed services. However if you are in any way dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience, please contact us we will try our utmost to resolve any problems.
Section 9. Waxing
Do not have heat treatments or undertake exercise (e.g. sauna, sunbed, Jacuzzi, workout, or swim etc.) Less than 8 hours before or 24 hours after your wax. Avoid wearing “Best” underwear for Bikini wax. Avoid normal deodorants after under arm wax.
Section 10. Zero Tolerance/Abusing Policy
Adorn beauty takes equality and diversity very seriously and will not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment by clients or staff. Anyone who breaks our equality and diversity policies will be disciplined. Our manager can stop or refuse to offer any treatments who abuse our beauticians.
Section 11. Eyelash Extension
Eyelash extensions are not for everyone. This is a high-maintenance beauty treatment that requires gentle care for the lashes to remain in good condition and be long-lasting. Once the lashes are attached, you must not rub or pull on them. You must not wear any mascara or use eyelash curlers. Kindly follow the after treatment care that you recieve at the time of booking your appointment.
Section 12. Mobile Phones
please switch off mobile phones before & during your visit to the salon.
Section 13. Eyebrows / Eyelash Tint
A skin patch test is required for all new hair colour clients. The skin patch test must be applied 24 hours prior to an appointment. Please inform us if you are pregnant or have any known allergies or previous allergic reactions.
Section 14. General Treatment Advice - Very Important Information
Food – Always allow at least 1 hour to digest your meals before having treatments.
Alcohol – Never consume alcohol before any treatment.
Medical Conditions – If you have any of the following it is essential to tell your therapist before your treatment as some electrical treatments are prohibited if you suffer from these conditions :
Pacemaker, Heart Condition, Diabetes, Allergies, Epilepsy, Contact Lenses, Pregnancy
Section 15. Package Terms & Conditions
We respect that you have bought package from us. To get the most out of your package, you must adhere to the following conditions:
- You have to use the package within the given time frame. If you do not avail the package within the stipulated time, in these circumstances, you will not be given extra time under any circumstances.
- If we temporarily close our shop for any reason, in such a situation we will extend the time limit to you as many days as we have closed the shop.
- The package is yours and we insist that you get the benefits. But, if for some reason, you are unable to take advantage of the package, in such a situation, we will need your written approval from you as to who else in your place will take advantage of the package? You must provide us with the name of the beneficiary. As you provide this information, we will immediately transfer the benefit of the package to the person named after you. You will not be the owner of this package as soon as the benefit of the package is transferred to the new person. Please note that we will only transfer the package and will not extend the duration of the package for any reason * (* unless condition number 2 applies)
- We appreciate that you have purchased the package only when you are happy with our customer service and want to reap the benefits of the package. However, the package money will not be refunded under any circumstances. If you migrate in the package, in such a context we would urge you to give the benefit of your package to any member of your family or even your friend. If you are not able to do this, you will lose the benefit of the package. Under any circumstances, we will not refund you the money. However, if you want to change the treatment, we may allow you to change the treatment* (Not valid in all cases. T&C apply)
- If the therapist of your choice leaves the job, we will only suggest that you choose another therapist from our current team. But we are not responsible for giving you any kind of refund or any other benefits.
- Expiry of your package will be explained to you in person and will be given to you in writing on paper. If you have lost this paper, you can feel free to ask us about your total remaining package Benefit and the expiry date of your package.
- If you have taken a package of more than one service then you have to get all the services done in one day. For example, if you have taken manicure and pedicure services as a package, in such circumstances you have to get the manicure and pedicure done on the same day. We will not be able to give you a package benefit if you do not follow this procedure.
